Important information for the installation of your Cellair device (please read carefully!)

Dear customer – I am pleased to welcome you back and introduce you to another part of our onboarding process.

We are getting closer to the upcoming delivery date, which also marks the installation at your site.

Production of the new Cellair model range is currently running at full speed and new systems are being created every day. I have brought you a few pictures (see above) where you can already get a first impression.

It is always exciting for me to see a new Cellair unit leaving production and making its way to its new owner.

I often imagine how you, dear customer, or your patients & clients, train on exactly this Cellair device and give “their life more life” with every Cellair training.

Personally, I just feel deeply happy to be involved in the development of such a product!

My request to you, because today we need your support:

In order to prepare ourselves optimally for the upcoming installation at your premises, some information regarding your IT conditions in the premises is important.

For this purpose, I have prepared an IT questionnaire for you. Please select the question that applies to you by clicking on it. In the following video you will find more information on how to answer the questionnaire. If you cannot answer one or the other question, our experienced installation team will help you.

Please answer the questions as soon as possible. This helps to use time and resources wisely.

I have put together a completion guide and some information on what to expect during the installation in the short video below.

Which illustration most closely describes your situation?Are your Internet connection, server and CellAir system space located on one floor, or spread out over several floors?
Can you list some details here about where your internet connection is and where the CellAir system will be located?My Internet connection is in relation to the planned pitch of the CellAir system ...
Are there LAN connections in your rooms?Are there LAN sockets in your rooms for connecting a LAN network cable?
Do you have a server with which you manage your IT network?Is there a server cabinet in your company where a server and LAN switch are located?
Do you have your own router for your Internet access?Does your company have its own Internet access to which we can connect the CellAir Controller?
Do you have the access data to the configuration menu of your router?Is only needed in exceptional cases, since in most cases the connection works on the first try

FAQ – The most frequently asked questions about the installation

Quick facts for IT administrators + -

Abstract for administrators

Installation consists of 3 components (see installation plan, CLICK):  

1. One or more CellAir Hypoxicator(s) (therapy devices) connected to a switch via Ethernet LAN network cable

2. The CellAir controller for software control of the hypoxia systems, also connected via Ethernet LAN RJ45 to a common switch.

Caution: The controller has 2 LAN sockets (A) left Port = DHCP Client; (B) right Port = DHCP Server. Through this, the controller can be integrated into your network with (A) or operated within a closed network with (B).

3. Connecting/integrating a PC/MAC computer to the same switch in order to access the CellAir Control Software via a web browser and IP address. When integrating into the company network, reserving or assigning a static IP address is necessary. The controller registers itself as a DHCP client on the network with the name ‘cellaircc’.

Does my IT supervisor need to be on site for the installation? + -

IT Supervisor

In principle, your IT contact does not have to be on site for the installation. In most cases, the arrangements can be clarified by telephone before the installation date. However, it would be helpful if your administrator could be reached by telephone on the day of installation in case we have any queries.

I have questions about protecting of my data. + -

Data protection

Data protection is an important issue for us. As a Cellgym customer you can therefore rest assured. Patient data or other data from your network will never be transferred to our servers.

Participants in the following programs are an exception:

Data collection in the PPU (Pay per Use) process

For monthly billing, we only transfer the start time and end time of each training session to the respective date.

The evaluation of which patient performed Cellgym on you, when and for how long is only visible to you. This data is not accessible to us and cannot be viewed by us.

Data collection from participants of special service & maintenance packages 

In order to check that the CellAir device you have is functioning properly and to be able to initiate appropriate measures at an early stage as part of an early warning system, the following system data is transferred to us as part of this service:
1) Oxygen sensor level and status; 2) Built up pressure of compressor; 3) Machine temperature and humidity; 4) Functional check of the valve control; (5) Warnings and error messages.

Data collection from participants in scientific studies

For participants in scientific studies, raw data from training sessions is also transferred to our server based on a written agreement.

Current information: More than 100 systems from the new model series have already been ordered, so it will take some time to set up, install, and provide technical training for all the systems across our customer base. Deliveries will be made in the order in which the orders were received. We will automatically contact you approximately 2-3 weeks before your system arrives to arrange a suitable appointment.
